eScribe

eScribe is a company based in Ontario, Canada meeting management software for the public sector. Their parent company, Onboard was founded at Purdue in 2003 and eScribe came later in 2007.

Project Scope

Public sector organizations, such as towns, cities, and municipalities are required by law to publish information about their meetings so that citizens can know what will be discussed during the meetings, and so that they can learn of the meeting outcomes and decisions. In most jurisdictions, this is mandated by legislation that covers what needs to be published, when information needs to be published, as well as accessibility of published information (WCAG)

For our project, we need to improve eScribe's current UI and user experience, making it easier and quicker to find published public meetings.

Project Goals

1. Design a way to display the agenda and minutes and an optional video player on a screen for the user to be able to reference as needed
2. Design a system to manage content/data  for the same meeting

Deliverables

1. Created a detailed analysis of eScribe's competitors through a competitive analysis

2. Create high-fidelity wireframes that include the agenda, minutes, and video player.
